What Is SEO Xcellence?

My name is Mitch Mitchell, and I am the founder of this company. This all came about because we felt something was missing. Our main organizational website had been out there since 2002, and wasn't getting much action or attention at all. Frankly, that's the reality of most websites in the world; they're created, uploaded onto a server, then nothing happens with them.

That's when researching web optimization began. First, we did a redesign of the main site; no major changes, but we needed to line things up better before we could start the full process. Next came the educational part. We learned about keywords and linking and rankings. We learned what types of websites are hard to optimize. We learned about content, and about constantly changing it.

Our main site is now heavily optimized for our primary keywords. Many keywords place our services and products in the top 10 on all major search engines; we're even number one in some instances. We have learned how to continually work to make our main website better, so that we will rank high for almost all of the services and products we market.

Our next step was to find other clients we could provide the service for, just to see if our techniques were valid. This began with a seminar for a consultant's group on SEO. As we showed them our main site, and our second web portal/directory site, the members of this organization were genuinely interested in what we had to show them.

That meeting generated immediate business from two of the consultants, and we went to work. When we were finished, each site had attained web relevance almost immediately from Alexa. Within two weeks, one of those sites, which had no web presence before and was relatively new, had attained a Google page rank of 2; the owner of the site had even been contacted by, and received business from, a client who found him on the web. The other site, which had been on the web for 5 years, had attained a page rank of 4. We also became the official webmaster for the consultant group.

SEO Xcellence has as its mission to help people who have websites makes those sites relevant, or help those individuals or small businesses create optimized websites so that they have an opportunity to obtain business. We also have created a tutorial, which explains how optimization works at a basic level, as well as an article and outline to help folks decide whether they should go that route. There aren't many companies who will tell you straight out how to do it, or whether to do it, but we will. It's not hard to do, but it can be time consuming. We have many articles, with more to come, addressing many SEO topics that we feel will help anyone interested in learning more; after all, we are affiliated with an organization that specializes in training.

To do it properly, optimization takes lots of research, good copy writing, continually adding content, and constant tinkering. Sites that are optimized will boost your web presence, but if it's not continual, they will lose that presence as fast as they got it.
